Imagine the Methow

The Methow Conservancy hosted a public program on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 entitled, "Celebrating 10 Years of Community Conservation and Having a Conversation About the Future of the Valley." It was wonderful to see 60 new-comers, old-timers and all types in-between fill the Merc Playhouse to meet and hear a presentation by Jason Paulsen, the Methow Conservancy's new Executive Director, and to share concerns, hopes and ideas about the future of the Valley. Everyone received a short survey as they walked in. The enthusiasm that folks showed in sharing their thoughts, on paper and with others in the room, was inspiring. It encouraged us to post the survey on our website and invite Valley residents and visitors to tell us what is important to them.
