Methow Forest Owners' Cooperative Community Survey

The Methow Forest Owner's Cooperative (MFOC), a landowner-based effort initiated in spring 2002, has asked the Methow Conservancy to distribute their Community Survey to owners of forested land in the Methow Valley. If you own forested land and are interested in community based forest management, please click the link below and answer the brief one-page survey. The survey asks for information regarding landowner interests and needs, and will help MFOC adapt their programs and services.

Community Survey

A forest owner cooperative is an incorporated business that is owned and democratically controlled by its members for the purpose of creating opportunities that may not otherwise be available to individual forest owners. The MFOC's role is to ensure that landowners benefit from access to cost-effective fuels reduction projects that enhance rather than jeopardize the ecological integrity of their forests. The MFOC operates with a grant received through the USDA's Rural Cooperative Development Program.
